Event Description:

Join Joan McArthur-Blair and Jeanie Cockell every week for Resilience Reset, a highly interactive conversation about resilience in our complex world. Jeanie and Joan will curate topics from their work in resilience and/or uplift topics from the participants that arrive. Resilience Reset is an opportunity to focus on the strengths we bring to creating an appreciative resilience practice.

Being resilient is about practicing in the every-day of our lives and work. It is not a place we get to arrive at nor a place where we can permanently reside. Being resilient does not make us immune to the challenges of work and life. Rather, being resilient lets us venture and evolve using all of our strengths in the most challenging of times.

This series is based upon Building Resilience with Appreciative Inquiry: A Leadership Journey through Hope, Despair, and Forgiveness (2018). Get your copy of the book here.

Joan McArthur-Blair and Jeanie Cockell, co-presidents of Cockell McArthur-Blair Consulting, specialize in designing strategies to surface the wisdom of individuals, groups, and organizations to build positive futures. They are the co-authors of Building Resilience with Appreciative Inquiry: A Leadership Journey through Hope, Despair, and Forgiveness (2018) and Appreciative Inquiry in Higher Education: A Transformative Force (2nd Edition 2020) and many articles on leadership and AI. They bring to this conversation a lifelong passion for and study of leadership and resilience.
