Biography

With over 15 years of leadership experience in both Canada and the US, Leeann brings a diverse range of skills and experiences to her consulting work. Appreciative inquiry provides a foundational element of her approach to building relationships and teams, managing people and implementing strategic and emergent change.

Leeann is currently a higher education Ieader, focussed on supporting teaching and learning transformations. She believes the most important thing in her work is relationships and is known for developing strong, high performing teams. She is also one of the managing partners of Appreciative Learning Solutions, providing training and consulting services underpinned by the Appreciative Inquiry Framework. LeeAnn has fulfilled a variety of leadership roles in education as a faculty member, program chair, curriculum coordinator and manager. Her healthcare experience includes: critical care nurse, as well as Manager, Director and Chief Clinical Officer.

She has a bachelors degree in Nursing from University of Victoria, a masters degree in healthcare administration from Indiana State University and is currently a doctoral candidate at Athabasca University’s distance education program, researching the use of appreciative inquiry in the faculty development context.
She is a certified AI facilitator and trainer.
