Kathy Becker is the president of the Company of Experts, Inc. The Company of Experts has served clients in both the public and private sectors since 1989.  With over thirty years of professional experience in K-12 and higher education, she has served as a Human Resources Officer, Staff Development Coordinator and Equal Employment Opportunity Officer. She has had direct responsibility for labor contract negotiations, sexual harassment training, discrimination investigation, mediation and conflict resolution, discipline and grievance, professional training and leadership development.

Leading the company to ask “What might be possible if community and organization members were fully engaged and using their strengths to collectively achieve shared visions?” Kathy has initiated new programs and services to meet the challenges of the new economy.

The Company of Experts is a consulting firm serving schools, colleges and universities, businesses, corporations and non-profits moving them from deficit models of planning and thinking to engagement, empowerment and collaboration.

Kathy is a trained Appreciative Inquiry Facilitator/Trainer and incorporates AI into her consulting and training. With her background in the public and private sectors as well as a strong commitment to customer service and developing learning organizations, Kathy brings real-world experience to her consulting, trainings, and workshops. Some of the workshops include: Appreciative Inquiry, Equal Employment Opportunity, Diversity Hiring, Leadership, Customer Relations, Conflict Resolution, Succession Planning and Creating Change through Dialogue.

Working with clients in non-profits, business, education, government, NGO’s, military and with individuals, Kathy has built solid relationships. The repeat business of clients is a true testimonial for the Company of Experts under her leadership.

Kathy has a bachelor’s degree in Business with a minor in psychology and her master’s degree in Organizational Development.

Kathy has served as a board member for a national labor union and is currently on the board of a software development company. Serving as a Director for Distance Edu Learning, Inc., a software development firm since 2004, Kathy has been involved in the planning and development of Fintelo. The Company of Experts is using Fintelo as a green alternative to providing onsite training for individuals and organizations.

In addition, Kathy has led a national initiative, the Creative Change Institute (CCI). The CCI includes national leaders in manufacturing, engineering, construction, technology as well as educators who recognize the need for positive change. The primary focus has been on maintaining our competitive advantage through dialogue, commitments and action.

Kathy has also served as an elected board member for a number of non-profit organizations and has recently relocated her company to Las Vegas, Nevada to be part of the energy of a city creating a new vision of change.
